Midgard Holding continues to be a family-driven enterprise, now guided by the sixth generation, with the seventh and eighth already preparing to carry the torch. Our story is one of resilience, unity, and vision, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our legacy endures for generations to come.

Driven by a desire to rebuild and expand, the late 20th century saw the family exploring opportunities beyond Romania’s borders. Establishing themselves in Germany, France, and later Great Britain, they laid the foundation for future global ventures. Through the 1990s and into the 21st century, the family's activities expanded across 47 countries, trading agricultural products, establishing a human resources agency for seafaring, and entering the software development industry.

With the advent of the 20th century, our ancestors began to diversify their ventures, moving into sheep transhumance, cattle farming, and the hospitality industry. The early decades brought both opportunity and hardship, as World War I and later World War II tested their resilience. Despite the destruction wrought by war and the challenges of the communist regime, the families persevered, laying the groundwork for a unified future.

In the late 18th century, several families from the Tatra and Balkan Mountains to the Danube and Dniester rivers began cultivating their lands and building modest homes. These families—Transylvanian, Jewish, Greek, Ukrainian, and Bukovinan by origin—laid the foundation for what would become a lasting legacy. Their deep connection to the land and their resilience in the face of adversity set the stage for future generations.
